Seasonal Team Members


-  Performs planting and related activities.

-  Moves materials and equipment and performs related

duties to assist in landscaping and hardscaping.

-  Digs holes and trenches and excavates for hardscaping

 features using picks and shovels or related equipment.

-  Hauls or spreads topsoil, gravel, sand, mulch, or

related materials using wheelbarrows and rakes.

-  Maintains a clean and safe work environment,

including the work site and equipment.




Seasonal Maintenance & Team Leaders


-  Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to back hoes,

bobcats, dingos, tillers, sod cutters, weed eaters, plant augers, chain saws, and drills.

-  Communicates clients concerns to management.

-  Plans and organizes the job, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are

available. Also ensures that job is completed in the most time-efficient manner.

-  Manages a team of two or more employees, including handling personnel

issues on site and training employees on policies and procedures.

-  Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment.

-  Briefs supervisors and makes recommendations on job status, personnel issues, or client concerns.




-  Experience in the landscaping or horticultural field.

-  Has a working knowledge of standard horticultural practices,

including but not limited to planting, pruning, weeding.

-  Strong oral and written communication skills, math skills,

 job planning skills, and mechanical aptitude are a must

-  Ability to operate a truck and trailer combination proficiently

-  Valid Michigan driver’s license and a good driving record




Landscape Sales Professional


-  Generate new leads and conduct initial client consultation

-  Perform all phases of the sales/design process, including client

meetings, cost estimates, proposals and project presentation

-  Organization of project materials and site details

-  Ensure accurate field verification, measurements and analysis

-  Coordination with clients, production and subcontractors




-  Degree in landscape architecture or landscape design required, or equivalent

-  Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; willingness and ability

to learn proprietary software and other programs as necessary

-  Firm understanding of landscape plant material appropriate for the Michigan region;

construction products, procedures and techniques; and proper planting techniques

-  Experience of installing plants and/or hardscaping materials a plus

-  Valid Michigan driver’s license and a good driving record
